TopGrading Solutions Named Among the Best Places to Work in St. Lucie County, Florida

Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- The St. Lucie County Human Resource Association recently recognized TopGrading Solutions as one of twelve “Best Places to Work” in St. Lucie County at the ninth annual St. Lucie County Best Place to Work Awards.  The Best Place to Work program was originally spearheaded in St. Lucie County and is now a national program.

St. Lucie County has over 12,000 businesses ranging from ‘mom and pops’ to firms with over 1000 employees.  The association asked local business owners to fill out a survey which it then used to measure numerous factors in determining the top employer in four different categories for each company size.  Criteria for the award included employee training, new employee orientation, paid days (including vacation, sick, holidays, etc), flex time for personal / family needs, medical/drug benefits, community service involvement, annual bonuses and average tenure/turnover.

TopGrading Solutions was entered in the “Under 50 Employees” category and was named #1 in employee training and development. Some other criteria that contributed to the win included 75% of employees enrolled in a 401(k) retirement program; 100% employee participation in a profit sharing plan; 75% employee participation in an employee bonus program; 12.5% turnover rate; formal orientation and onboarding program including introductory meeting, training seminars, video training, and training with a live instructor; and the availability of free time during business hours for employees to volunteer time to serve the community.
