Follow on Google News | New PEX Series Carpet Extractor Introduced at ISSA TradeshowU.S Products, a leading manufacturer of carpet, floor care, and restoration cleaning equipment, has just introduced its latest carpet-cleaning system, the new PEX Series.
The machine was on display at the recent ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America® tradeshow in Orlando, Fla. The PEX Series is the first product co-developed by engineers at U.S. Products and Nilfisk-Advance since Nilfisk acquired the company more than three years ago. According to Mark Baxter, product and training manager for U.S. Products, the PEX series is unique to the carpet-cleaning industry for several reasons, including its open-pallet design. “Simply opening the front half of the machine allows quick access to all internal components [of the machine],” he says. “This allows the user to address simple maintenance needs quickly and easily.” The PEX series is available in two models: • The CRI* Silver-certified 200 with adjustable 50 to 200 psi and a dual 2-stage vacuum motor; and • The CRI Gold-certified 500 with 50 to 500 psi, complete with a dual 3-stage vacuum motor. Both units have an upright “dolly” design for easy one-person transport, maneuver, and stair climbing, as well as on-demand 212-degree F heat. “And because more carpet cleaners are cleaning commercial carpets in ‘day cleaning’ situations, we added a sound-deadening system for quieter operation,” Baxter adds. He also believes the PEX series represents the future of portable carpet extractors. “These systems are light, flexible, service-friendly, quiet, and environmentally responsible,” *Carpet and Rug Institute # # # About U.S. Products U.S. Products has been manufacturing cleaning equipment for carpeting, floors, draperies, upholstery, and restoration for more than 25 years.
