National Agents Alliance Hosts 'Feed the Hunger' Banquet At Its Headquarters

Nov. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- BURLINGTON, N.C. (November 19, 2010) - National Agents Alliance hosted its annual New Directions International Feed the Hunger benefit banquet Saturday night with nearly 300 people in attendance at the National Agents Alliance headquarters.
National Agents Alliance has hosted the event for three straight years and donations collected will go to support the Feed the Hunger program.

"It's always great when we can get behind a group of folks like this and help out in any way," said Andy Albright, National Agents Alliance CEO and President. "The work they are doing to help reach out to children all over the world is tremendous and we are just thrilled to be a part of such a good effort."

Among those in attendance were New Directions International CEO Joseph Williams and other supporters of New Directions International, which helps Feed the Hunger provide food and spiritual guidance to at-risk children primarily in the United States, Caribbean, Africa and Asia.

The event featured tables grouped into sections that represented countries from around the world. Sections for Africa (Kenya), Asia (Bangladesh) and the Caribbean (Haiti) were set up with side dishes from each served with the meal, while the tables were decorated with artifacts and flags from each country.

Guests were also given the opportunity to taste a rice dish that New Directions International packs to send to at-risk children during its bi-annual Feed the Hungry Pack-a-thon. Packages of this rice meal are sent to thousands of hungry children around the world each year and National Agents Alliance employees have participated in the Pack-a-thon during the last two years.

Feed the Hunger is under the ministry umbrella of New Directions International, an evangelical mission organization founded in 1968 by Dr. J.L. Williams.
