Opportunities Abound From Cascais To Figueira do Foz

Nov. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- First of all was lunch at one of the pricey but excellent restaurants  just a few km s West of Cascais itself. We then drove along the coast wherever possible, northwards.

The roads are typically windy and even more typically poorly sign posted however the whole route is littered with enchanting ocean and countryside views.

Travelling through the many villages dotted along this route it is difficult to imagine that you are so close to the capital city and the relative opulence of Sintra, there are charming but rather run down properties everywhere many with for sale signs on them.

The beaches are fantastic and despite it being a warm and sunny day where largely deserted, indeed the lack of infrastructure on and around the beaches suggested that they rarely get too busy. The romance inherit within this area is hard to ignore.

So close to Lisbon, beautiful and secluded beaches and a large amount of rustic properties for sale, coupled with the albeit modest price correction would suggest that this whole coastal area is ripe for some real estate investors to step in.

This is indeed happening and while it is at a fairly slow pace at the moment this surely will not last, along with many people who are looking to locate to Portugal a wait and see policy has been adopted by many.

From the Cascais to Figueira Do Foz there are charming and romantic spots to be found everywhere  and the area is positively steeped in history giving ample opportunities to those who wish to set up tourist based activities, all of this of course before we even consider the numerous top class  golf courses and surfing areas that you can easily find here.

Recently http://www.perfectportugalproperty.co.uk have reported an increase in visitors and enquiries along the silver coast area suggesting that this once very popular area is starting to attract overseas property investors again.
