By: Shante Traynham Wooh: Yes I write for others as well. I’ve been writing for years now and I find peace in expressing myself. Editor: How long have you actually been rappin? Wooh: Man I been doin this thing since elementary school, it goes way back for me. Editor: Do you feel that your move to Atlanta helped your career at all? Wooh: ATL was the best thing that ever happened, because I was in a New York state of mind. Editor: Who in the rap game do you compare yourself with? Wooh: I don’t compare myself with no rapper however, I look up to all that ever made it and that’s too many to name. Editor: How does it feel to be in such a well known family? Wooh: Well to be honest with you our family has always been a very well known family. Even in New York we was the family that everybody wanted to hang out with. We kept a house full of love. Editor: Your Mom is known for her strength in this industry, how does it effect your relationship at home? Wooh: When I visit Debra its family time, we do the normal things that families do. My mom is strong period so that’s all we know her to be. At home Debra is the same person, a head strong powerful woman but, don’t think she gives her sons any special treatment when it comes to business; she’s harder on her sons than any of the other artist that she manages. Editor: There is a lot of talk about you and the direction of your career, how would you best describe your swagg? Wooh: My swagg came from my life experiences. Growing up as a child I had to face many challenges that made me who I am. Swagg is natural for me. Editor: Just in a few words to describe who you are as an artist, what words would you use? Wooh: “Wooh Da King” (laughing) Editor: George Riley End
