“Divas Supporting Divas” Networking Event

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Founded by Da-Nel Euwings, Women Still Standing is a loving collective of women of color who have overcome disrespect, disappointment, disrepute, disregard, disgust, disdain, and have said “enough”. In spite of their past pains these women are still standing because they have recognized their beauty, value, purpose and gifts. They refuse to be extinguished, exploited, excluded, or exited from a well-earned life of peace, power and prosperity. Da-Nel’s intuitive skills as a capable Massage Therapist and passion for helping women moved her to want to embrace, encourage, educate and empower them in an enlarged and meaningful way. As a divorced single mother of one son, and the product of a turbulent history, Da-Nel empathizes with many of the joys and heartaches women experience along life’s journey. By hosting professional, inspiring and fun workshops, networking events, excursions, fundraisers, it is Da-Nel’s passion to help women who want to help themselves - and one another - by providing occasions for what women of color need to thrive; love, respect, knowledge, dignity, education, purpose and support.

To date, Women Still Standing is a private Facebook Group consisting of 150 women across 5 States, an internet meetup group has just been formed, and it will soon be an established non-profit and national organization.
