Mr. Handyman, Mark Slagle Appointed to SWCRC Board

Nov. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce announced its newly elected 2011 board of directors. Mark Slagle, local owner of a Mr. Handyman franchise, was among the slate that was recently voted into office for a two year post. Mark is a member of the Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, President of Chamber Connections Group and incoming Chair of the Ambassadors Group.

The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber exists to improve the overall business climate for its members by undertaking action which stimulates economic growth, interbusiness communication and member education and promotes legislative direction. The board of directors meet monthly to discuss and act upon economic, legislative and business issues.                      

“I am happy to serve on the Chamber board and hope to add to its success.” Slagle stated. He was also voted Trenton’s Business of the Year for 2010 and is an active member of the Trenton Business Association as Past President, Vice President and Current Board of Directors. He concurrently serves as a Trenton Rotary Member, Trenton’s Downtown Development Authority Vice Chair and other community organizations.
