Dec. 11, 1 to 4 p.m. Attendees will meet faculty, staff and students. The school has small class sizes, and teachers understand different learning styles.

The school provides a personally enriching and academically challenging, college prep environment. “Many students who find that other educational institutions are not a good match for them come to Orinda Academy where small class sizes allow them to achieve their full potential,” says Ron Graydon, founder and head of the school. “Students who have struggled in a traditional classroom will feel a sense of belonging at Orinda Academy and discover that our teachers are skilled at understanding how to help students achieve, even those who may have different learning styles.” Visitors to the Open House will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and students, as well as learn abut the school’s extracurricular offerings including arts, sports, travel and technology. In addition, they’ll learn how the school’s nurturing learning environment, with an emphasis on organization, time-management and self-advocacy, is extremely effective for all students.
