Author Ronald S. Barak donates 50% of book sale royalties to AIDS charity

Nov. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- (Nov. 29, 2010 – Los Angeles, CA)  Author and lawyer Ronald S. Barak is joining forces with Alicia Keyes and Lady Gaga to raise much needed funding for HIV and Aids awareness and support. Barak will donate 50% of his book royalties from his political murder mystery, “a season for redemption,” to Alicia Keyes’ AIDS charity from Monday, November 29th through Sunday, December 5th, 2010.

Barak, a former Olympic gymnast, has devoted his life to supporting and improving lives through various charitable organizations.  As an author, Barak is using his gift of writing to help raise funds for HIV/AIDS awareness.  His current novel, “a season for redemption,” is a political murder mystery thriller highlighting modern day themes.

“Our world is being ravaged by HIV and AIDS,” said Ronald S. Barak. “The entire spectrum of the arts community must work together to raise awareness and donations to help save lives and educate the world.”

Alicia Keyes and Lady Gaga are “going offline” until $1 Million dollars has been donated to an Aids charity.  Barak’s royalty donations from the sales of his book will go towards this goal.
