Nov. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Slag Crusher is the key component in coal gasification process. It is installed between the bottom of the chilling chamber and the lockhopper. It is used to crush slag and came off fire-proof bricks, the purpose is to avoid the accumulation of slag which will cause the whole system to stop.
The shell of the slag crusher is a pressure vessel, its top part connects with the bottom of the chilling chamber of the gasification furnace; its bottom part connects with the lockhopper. The moving gear is mounted eccentricly on the barrel, marble stone crusher and the dead gear and the moving gear make relative movement. Slag is continuously crushed. There are guiding baffles above the dead gear and the moving gear, this measure ensures that all the slag pass through the crushing system and no accumulation of uncrushed slag above the moving gear.
