Cleveland, December 1, 2010—Today Therm-All Insulation announced the arrival of countrywide retrofit services, an improved service designed to make adding insulation to an existing building easier than ever. Therm-All retrofit solutions service a variety of structures, including sports and athletic facilities, warehouses, airplane hangars, ice rinks, and commercial buildings throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Therm-All retrofit services:
• Reduce utility bills; in some cases, customers have reported cutting utility costs by as much as 60%
• Enhance lighting through reflective white facing
• Improve acoustics by absorbing sound
• Often assist in controlling condensation
• Conserve energy and naturally lower indoor temperatures during warmer months and maintain comfortable temperatures during winter

Rising green building trends and federal energy tax credits have created a greater demand for retrofit services. Commercial building owners can receive up to $0.60 per square-foot tax credit on any part of the building that is retrofitted with energy-saving insulation. This means that, in addition to cutting costs on heating and cooling, customers also receive a substantial federal bonus for their energy efficiency efforts. Furthermore, increasingly stringent energy code regulations have contributed to the retrofit demand. Building owners and operators everywhere have realized the need to invest in insulation that complies with their state’s current code guidelines.
