The CK-MB kits are available now and come with two bar-coded cartridges and two vials of lyophilized reagent. The reagent is used for the quantitative determination of the isoenzyme Creatinine Kinase-MB in serum. CK-MB levels are elevated significantly following a heart attack, so the test is used to detect whether a patient has had an acute myocardial infarction.
