Tino Rozzo screwed out of Italian Citizenship

Recently, I tried to obtain dual citizenship with Italy. I thought it would be easy and it wasn’t.  I was obstructed and denied due to problems with the Philadelphia PA Consulate.



Here is a chronology of what had happened at The Philadelphia PA Consulate

1. I attempted to obtain dual citizenship by using my father’s side of the family.
     My father became a US citizen, but my Paternal Grandparents remained Italian.
     They where born, married and died in Italy.
2. The Lady who initiated this at the consulate told me that my father relinquished his Italian Citizenship, but my mother was a Italian Citizen since she received the Citizenship upon marriage, yet she never relinquished it. She was born in the USA.
3.  Her instructions where quite confusing, and she did nothing to help me understand the process. She was always asking for documents I didn’t know about.  She never explained what a Long Birth Certificate was or a Apostille.
How ever I have my Grandfathers and Grandmothers papers. She never checked    
the Documents well  and  There where always delays. She kept insisting she was a
help when she wasn’t . She mostly never returned my calls or answered my    
emails.                                        
4. She attached my Mother to the Citizenship process, which I had no intentions of doing. She made my mother’s lineage the issue and had my mother fill out documents to apply for Citizenship.
5. I had to get my Maternal Grandparents documents and maternal Grandfathers Naturalization Papers. So, If my mother was already a citizen, the why include her and make me go through this process?
6.I told her my Grandfather was naturalized US citizen, even during the Conversation with my Mother Present.

I have no idea why she chose to pursue this path other than to undermine and make sure I didn’t get my Italian Dual Citizenship. And I want my Italian dual citizenship.
