The storyline in Christopher Dorda’s debut novel, The Price of Free Will: The Singularity Cometh, bears an uncanny resemblance to what is currently happening to the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange. The Author would like to remind the public that his story was mostly written between 2005 and 2007, and that it’s simply a coincidence that his main character is an ex-hacker that brings the world its knees by releasing confidential information en-masse to the public. “Considering the exponentially evolving nature of technology, I knew something like this would eventually happen,” mentions Dorda, “it was inevitable. That’s why I chose the theme of free will and the exploration of the consequences associated with exercising free will on such a large scale.” The Price of Free Will: The Singularity Cometh can be found online at all major distributors. The Author is not granting interviews at this time. # # # Christopher Dorda is a speculative/ End
