Emergys Global Trade Consulting Services Hire Announcement: Jack Harvey,Emergys Principal Consultant

Dec. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Emergys, leading Business Transformation Service provider, is proud to welcome Jack Harvey, as Principal Consultant at Emergys Corporation.  Jack Harvey will focus on Global Trade management within SAP’s Global Trade Services Solution Portfolio.
 
Jack Harvey comes to Emergys from SAP, where he served as SAP Sr. Consultant/Practice Lead.  During his 10 plus years at SAP, Jack implemented and configured various modules of SAP and EDI across various industries. He also led a European based support team in a GMP and FDA validation environment.

As part of SAP’s Global Trade Services team, Jack gained extensive international experience with building electronic communications using EDI and XML in countries such as Finland, Sweden, and Hungary.  These three countries were the first localizations using GTS in non-certified countries.  Jack also has implementation expertise in compliance (SPL, Embargo and Licensing), customs management (Import/Export) with certified solutions such as ACE and ATLAS. He has also implemented risk management with Letter of Credit, and Preference processing.

While at SAP, Jack was presented with numerous awards including the SAP Service Excellence Award in 2010, 2009 Consultant of the Quarter, 2008 Project of the quarter, and numerous other short term achievement awards.

Jack has an academic background in Computer Information Sciences with a minor in Business from Florida A&M University.  Prior to his current position, Jack also spent 12 years with various other companies including Eli Lilly and Company and MeadWestvaco implementing SAP and EDI.
