Emergys Welcomes Another Member to their Global Trade Services Practice

Dec. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Emergys, leading Business Transformation Service provider, is proud to welcome another member to their Global Trade Services Practice.  Kerian Shelver, Emergys’ new Principal Consultant, will focus on Global Trade Management specifically SAP’s Global Trade Product Portfolio and integration services.  

Kerian has over 14 years of SAP implementation experience covering various modules of SAP, across multiple industries as a design lead and solutions consultant.  With over 20 years implementation, solution design and technical experience with multiple programming languages, databases and ERP systems, he has developed the expertise needed to lead project teams, manage timelines; while achieving results under budget.

Kerian is a key consulting expert with extensive design and implementation experience with Global Trade Services (GTS), Materials Management, Sales and Distribution and EDI.  His Global Trade Services expertise includes knowledge of compliance (SPL, Embargo and Licensing); customs management (US import / export, EU, APAC, CA, LATAM) and  hard copy output for trade related documents; configuration in support of EAR, ITAR, OGA and many other industry specific regulatory requirements; regulatory experience with Department of State (ITAR) and commerce regulations across many verticals.  

He also has experience with RISK management for free trade agreements and Letter of Credit processing and Electronic Compliance Reporting (ECR).

Kerian has an academic background in Business Data Processing.  Prior to his current position, he was a Principal Consultant / practice lead at SAP America focusing on building a practice around the GRC, Global Trade Services Product.
