The health and wellness team consist of Karen M. Gauci, M.P.H., R.D., L.D., who is the in-house Nutritionist. She is registered and licensed as a Dietitian and holds a master’s degree in Public Health.  She also works in private practice as the President of Nutrition Services, Inc that provides information and education about various areas of nutrition. Her specialty is in substance abuse, mental disorders, weight management, health optimization, wellness, eating disorders and reducing the risk of disease.
According to Matthew Brindisi, President of Transformations Treatment Center, “for many years, Mrs. Gauci worked with many celebrities as the nutritionist at the Palm-Aire Spa Resort in Pompano Beach, Florida.” She has authored a book entitled, ‘Delicious Nutritious Spa Recipes.’ “A few years ago, Karen wrote a program entitled "Superitis, A 5 Star Plan for Better Health,’ for large corporations to help lower their health cost. “Mrs. Gauci is dedicated to her work and her experience carries much weight to the addict’s that are privy to meet her and engage in the services that she provides.”
The Behavioral Technical Health Team is also a vital part of Transformations Treatment Center. Geoff Spillias is the Supervisor for the department. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Interpersonal Communications. Geoff has an innate fervor to help people who are in distress and so his tenor at the clinic brings him in front of many clients who depend wholeheartedly on his care.
At Transformations Treatment Center, there are seven Behavioral Health Technicians namely Christine Patton, Mike Way, Terrie Hornick, Sergio Witis, Kevin Venekamp, James Shields and Danny Wilburn.
