UK Band Arketta Go Down Under With Undertow

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Australian record label Savvy Muzik is pleased to announce Arketta as their latest artist signing.  Arketta launches onto the scene with their first single Undertow - available on all major download sites.

Based in Wales, Arketta are carving their way through the UK scene with their feel-good, alternative rock sound and gaining momentum with gigs & festivals.  Their new relationship with Savvy Muzik comes at a perfect time for Arketta as 2010 has been very busy for the band.  Highlights include laying down 2 great tracks (Undertow & White Lies), winning at the Exposure Music Awards, winning the Varsity's regional battle of the bands, generating interest and, of course, signing with Savvy Muzik.  They are doing what they do best - gigging and writing great music.  "It's great to be working with Savvy Muzik as we have so much to offer.  It allows us to do what we love and reach more people!" - Damian

The band started in 2007 with Damian and Guy, while Steffan joined in the summer of 2009.  Their constant drive, gigging and 'Do It Yourself' attitude are making them stand out in the music scene.
