Follow on Google News | Rivet Software Releases Crossfire 3.5Latest version of most tested, used and proven XBRL software features new auto-tagging functionality
By: Tina Riffe Among the most anticipated new features of Crossfire 3.5 is “Auto-Tagging Support” which is the next generation of the product’s popular “Help Me Tag” feature. Auto Tag can recommend tags for all items in a financial statement, or selected items, based on predefined parameters set by the user. SIC codes can be used to analyze and compare tag choices, as well as overall SEC percentages for a specific tag choice. Another major enhancement in Crossfire 3.5 is an improved “Noteblock Authoring” tool which makes it easier for users to create and edit noteblocks with tables and controlled formatting. The upgraded software also has more robust export functions that produce greater folio integrity for documents transferred to Microsoft Word. Crossfire is used by Rivet’s internal staff to process and manage reports for clients who outsource their XBRL filings process.
