Radio Airplay for Martin Blasick's Operation North Pole

Dec. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- On the hottest day in Los Angeles history, singer/songwriter Martin Blasick was mesmerized by the mysteries of Santa Claus and the North Pole. As the mercury reached 113 degrees on  Sept 27, 2010, the writer of Lindsey Lohan's "Don't Move On" and numerous movie and TV songs was channeling holiday joy in an unair-conditioned  condo.

"It was like a door to Santa's workshop opened right into my heart", says Blasick of the four holiday carols that got written that day.. He soon realized he wanted to record an album and had better make it quickly. "That's the power of the internet. I put this album out digitally as soon as recording was completed. This is personal and meaningful to me. I wanted to put it out on my own so I could reach friends and lovers of the holiday season immediately".

Famed DJ Jimmy Jay is spinning Operation North Pole on his Sunday Rewind show on Rose Radio 99.9 in Texas. Internet listeners can tune in at http://roseradio999.com/ 6pm CST on Dec 19.

With titles such as 'Operation North Pole", "Fly Away Little Reindeer", and "Get Ready For Winter" this collection of songs is meant to be sweet and joyous without a hint of modern sarcasm.
