Dec. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- The schoolbus-TV system comprises of  a 26" LCD TV mounted in the front of the bus that plays "edu-taining", commercial-free content provided by partners such as NASA, TeenKidsNews.com and others.
The challenge has been to keep kids occupied and engaged in a schoolbus so that they are staying out of trouble. At an average kids spend about 45 minutes a day travelling to and from school on school buses. The schoolbus-TV program, is currently being piloted in various school districts in Texas and Oklahoma.
So far, the response has been nothing but positive from Texas School districts like Garland, Greenville, Crandall, Comal, Palestine, Splendora and Commerce. Tulsa, has been the first school district in Oklahoma that has also decided to pilot the system.

School districts nationwide would love to deploy the schoolbus-TV systems because the thousands of short fun and interesting "edu-taining" videos that it plays, address vital issues like bullying, safety, healthy nutrition, fitness, environment and other social issues that kids grapple with in this fast moving era.
Schoolbus-TV makes the travel time for the kids a little more fun and provides kids the opportunity to view motivational messages.
Schoolbus-TV makes the bus driver's job easier. Schoolbus-TV makes the kid's ride safer and reduces discipline related problems on school buses.
