Golden Cowrie - Branches, Cebu. Native Filipino Food At Its Worst.

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Cebu dining out guide released a new dining out survey for Cebu and rated Golden Cowrie Native Filipino food at Ayala, Cebu's worst Native pinoy food in Cebu City.  "We send out undercover diners to try the restaurants and this place was shocking" Cebu Dining guide said today.  "Our weekend dining spies were out and we are sorry to report that we have a new candidate for the worst traditional native restaurant in Cebu.  If your looking for something really tasty in traditional native filipino food then the Ayala branch is not the place to go."

"The Ayala branch of Hakud or Hukud or Sa Golden Cowrie REALLY MADE OUR BLOOD BOIL.
Acting under the cover a standard diner we were treated with THIRD WORLD SERVICE.  The traditional native food that calls itself Tradtional Native Filipino food is nothing but crap.  Sorry to sound blunt but the diners there must not have tried the likes of other restaurants in Ayala or the many other restaurants around Cebu.  Cebu dining out guide tried to confront the company through its contact home page form but to no avail.  Does this company think they can dish out bad food, bad service and go quiet in the hope that we go away?  This is the Cebu dining spy here guys.  We dont go away .. in fact we promote to others through our many networks our experiences and having a bad food dining experience in Cebu is something you don't want to give to us.

In summary we wouldnt recommend our readers dine at the Golden Cowrie, Ayala Terraces, Cebu for the following reason.

1. Absent minded staff
2. Wrong dishes provided
3. Poor quality meat.  Visual blobs of fat, very fatty! guys have you heard about the effects of poor quality food on arteries..  Yukko! not exactly healthy.
4. Greedy management who deduct from the staff wages any returned dishes.
5. ZERO and I repeat ZERO customer service when it comes to hearing customer complaints.

Golden Cowrie Traditional native filipino food is doing EVERYTHING WRONG when it comes to treating staff right, customers right and training its staff.  Cebu dining and food guide wonders whether there is any staff training at all? " What are you doing
management"?

"How can this company continue to operate dishing out food that i wouldnt even get my Askal to eat" Josef Ramos III said today.  Josef went onto say... "I'm pissed i really am, these guys have really pissed me off and so we are giving them a serve of our traditional Filipino response in return for BAD TRADITIONAL FILIPINO FOOD".  This is the only way we can complain is through the public forum of the internet and our mailing list and diners who are looking for quality food in Cebu will read our reviews and vote with their feet by not frequenting this place."
