Teneo ensures a trouble-free white Christmas for its Managed Riverbed Service clients

Dec. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Teneo, a leading infrastructure optimisation specialist, will be making sure clients who use its Riverbed managed service to update, maintain and support their Riverbed WAN optimisation appliances have a peaceful extended Christmas and New Year break with the Teneo support team on call throughout the festive period.

Snow is also likely to continue to affect most parts of the UK during the holiday period, with bookmakers predicting odds of 5-2 on for fresh snow to fall in London on Christmas Day. With both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day falling on a Saturday this year and bank holidays pushed into the working week, most employees including in-house IT teams are looking to take the bulk of the last week of December and the first week of January off – with Tuesday 4th January the first main full working day and many not returning until Monday 10th January.  

Across the festive period Teneo’s Managed Riverbed Services team will be actively monitoring and supporting over 100 Riverbed Steelhead appliances for its clients ensuring its promise of all year round service is delivered.  On Christmas Day, Teneo’s Riverbed accredited engineers will be alerted and will take action if a Riverbed Steelhead appliance develops a fault or is not optimising data effectively.  

Using the managed service, Riverbed appliance owners benefit from ensuring their Riverbed Steelheads are always updated, data traffic is optimised to ensure maximum data acceleration and any faults are rectified – with the vast majority of faults remedied on-line or solved by an on-site visit from a Teneo engineer.
