PRLog -- Damon performed for over two hours live on Sunday in front of a awestruck crowd at the joynt. Damon was peroming for the Brad's Kids Foundation to raise toys for hospitalized children at Lutheran General Childrens Hospital in Park Ridge. The event was a huge success and raised nearly 2,000 toys. The Porsche exchange of highland Park, one of the sponsors, brought two new porsches to display filled with toy porsche cars to donate to Brad's Kids. The event was also sponsored by Kovall Distillery in Ravenswood, Swirlz Cupcakes, Palmer Florist, and the Joynt. Before taking the stage in a red tie and matching scarf, Damon could be seen working the room, shaking hands and taking photos with guests. Besides donating his time to sing at the event, Damon also handed out invites weeks prior to the event and had the event mentioned in several local magazines and newspapers. "Jimmy Damon is a class act all the way around" said Brad's Kids chairman Bradley Pogofsky. "It was an honor to have him involved in our organization."
Since 2007, Brad's kids has raised 27,000 toys for Children's Memorial Hospital, Comer Children's Hospital, Shriner Hospital for Children, Mount Sinai Hospital, Hope Children's Hospital, Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and Lutheran General Children's Hospital.
