Mindfire participates in a survey by Great Place to Work Institute & the Economic Times

Dec. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- 12/27/10 New Delhi, India: Mindfire Solutions one of the top Software Development & IT consulting companies in India was selected to participate in an employee survey conducted by Great Place to Work Institute, India & the Economic Times. This survey was being conducted across various organizations in India as a part of the “India's Best Companies to Work For”-2011 study and the results are to be published in The Economic Times. This study was aimed at benchmarking employee perceptions of workplace environment against industry standards, which would in turn help to leverage on strengths and identify the areas for improvement.  

To grow and maintain a software organization at peak efficiency needs the discipline of process-driven work. And in a process-driven organization, it is expertise that allows employees to display their skills. This can be achieved if there is a healthy working environment, where work is appreciated without any kind of favoritism and where there is adequate scope for employees to hone their skills and capabilities. Everyone at Mindfire participated in the Great place to work Survey and provided honest opinions, which is a great sign that people at Mindfire are not hesitant to express their views without any bias. The result was a comparative study between the score of Mindfire Solutions and top 50 companies of India in 2010. The survey was based on trust index scores and its dimensions  were credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie, communication, competence & integrity, support & collaboration  equity, impartiality and justice, job satisfaction , team spirit, hospitality & corporate image to name a few. Top areas that were identified as strength at Mindfire are right people at the right position are hired by Mindfire, so that that their skills and expertise are channelized in the right direction.  Another area of strength that was identified was the employees are able to maintain a proper work-life balance at Mindfire, which is vital for the growth of the individuals as well as the organization. The biggest asset of any organization is its people, and at any point of time Mindfire Solutions can count on its people which were evident from the survey report. The only area of focus was more training session needs to be conducted, and Mindfire has already started working on it by organizing training and development programs for new joinees as well as the experienced people. “This survey is a kind of the performance evaluation or appraisal of Mindfire Solutions by the people at Mindfire. It is a mirror into us. And although there may be strong areas, the real value in any appraisal is the feedback which points to areas that can be improved.
