As 2010 comes to an end the digital signage sector has seen phenomenal growth. The solutions developed within the sector have been immensely impressive. 2011 is seen as the year in which digital signage truly takes off.

Organisations looking towards a more sustainable method of advertising will adopt digital signage.

If one was to look to see in the coming year and as it already can be seen interactive advertising will make its mark in 2011. Advertising has driven away from the fully factual informative adverts, consumers now need to be engaged in an interactive story, being played out for them to realise the direct implication and benefits of the product or service being offered.

Not only does it bring a form of fun and play to the consumer it portrays a message much more effectively. Many developments are being made, many prototypes will be developed. The industry with the competitiveness as with any sector will allow innovative products to be launched.

Digital signage was seen as a simple solution for a sector swarming with ideas, keeping in line with this ideology, interactive kiosks and displays will provide a simple solution but geared towards an ever changing economy.
