The Scholarship program provides needy monies to cover the following:  Tuition, Books, Clothes, Death in Family, Illness, Victim of Theft, Loss of Employment, or Transportation home for the holidays. The objective of the Errict Rhett Foundation is to “encourage leadership by utilizing our various talents to create an atmosphere that supports a child intellect, social setting and cultural development.”

What is the motivation behind this; while growing up Errict saw his mother come home tired every day from working 2 jobs only to fix dinner and lay her tired body down to rest on the same couch for 19 years which became the inspiration behind the Errict Rhett Foundation committing to meet the needs of disadvantage children whose parents could identify with Errict’s mom situation.

Back in December when I visited open house there were so many families who were enthusiastic about the idea of possibly owning this luxury 4 bedroom 2bath home. The organization had Santa there giving away toys and taking pictures  with the kids and eating Christmas Cup Cakes, while the parents walked around  and admired the home as it could possibly be theirs one day and the Roosevelt Gardens Home Owners Association President Eligha Lewis, III sat and watched in admiration as the potential new residents took a tour.
