Altechna started 2011 in new laboratories

Jan. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Altechna R&D brand, known as "Workshop of Photonics”, opened the door to new premises near the headquarters at Konstitucijos avenue 23B in Vilnius, Lithuania.  New laboratories are equipped for metrology research and production of laser series.

Metrology laboratory is the first one in Lithuania., It can provide high level integrated research services for measuring optical components quality parameters to ensure our customers withthe best quality products. We are also planning to install a number of different wavelength laser sources, which will allow more extensive qualitative analysis.

Another micromanufacturing  laboratory will carry out laser design development and assembly works. This laboratory is equipped according to all clean room requirements. Also the fume hood is installed to improve for preparative work such as optics cleaning, sizing, and other. From now on ‘Workshop of Photonics’ is able construct laser systems, complex opto-mechanical components and pursue small scale production without stopping the research activities.
