Ooh La La! Bakery Introduces New Line of Confections Just in time for Valentine's Day!

Jan. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- “We’re preparing for the big Valentine’s Day weekend with all kinds of delicious new products,” said Anastasia Weis Cullen, owner. “Ooh La La! Bakery is the Valentine’s Day headquarters for chocolate lovers.”

The new line of bakery chocolate and confections include a signature “Will You Be My Valentine?” Sugar Vase filled with Heart and Rose shaped Chocolate Lollipops; a “You Set My Heart on Fire” Truffle made with a sweet and spicy chipotle dark chocolate; Rooibee Red Heart Truffles made with Cranberry Pomegranate Rooibee Red Tea; and “Red Hots” Dark Chocolate Truffles made with cinnamon Schnapps. Other creations include Chocolate Caramel Hearts made with Bourbon Barrel Foods Bourbon Smoked Sugar; Chocolate Covered Cookie Sandwiches made with homemade chocolate and vanilla Oreos with a variety of fillings covered in dark, semi-sweet, milk and white chocolate; and Chocolate Covered Heart shaped Marshmallows. Ooh La La! Bakery is also introducing a Signature Line of Hot Chocolate, a perfect way to warm the heart.

The Valentine’s Day special baked goods include a Heart shaped Tart with Raspberry Glaze and Chocolate Ganache; Chocolate Heart shaped Whoopie Pies with a variety of fillings; Dark Chocolate cupcakes with Raspberry or Vanilla Crème filling; Designer Valentine’s Day Sugar Cookies and Chocolate Cookies; Heart shaped decorated Brownies; Triple Death by Chocolate Chip Heart shaped Cookies; and Heart shaped individual Cheesecakes in a variety of flavors. And for the young at heart, Conversation Heart Sugar cookies will be available, which can be personalized with a special Valentine’s Day message.

The Heart shaped Tart with Raspberry Glaze and Chocolate Ganache made with a Trefoil cookie crust, and the Designer Cookies will be featured at the 5th Annual Girl Scouts Desserts First event on January 27, 2011 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. In addition, Ooh La La! Bakery will have its Thin Mint Chocolate Torte, as featured by John Ramsey on WAVE 3 Listens, at the Desserts First event.
