Free Song: “i Have A Dream” Being Used Widely In MLK Day Celebrations In Us And Around The World

Jan. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- A popular children’s performer from the United States created a song called “I Have A Dream” in 2004.  Since that time, the song has caught on like wildfire in classrooms, churches and with civic organizations to celebrate MLK Day in the US and is even being used in various settings internationally, including a Chinese preschool and an Arab English Language camp in Nazareth, Israel. Written by DARIA (Daria Marmaluk-Hajioanou); a five-time award-winning children’s performer, the song is part of her numerous recordings that celebrate the diversity and dignity of all children.  

Says Daria:” I go back to MLK’s speeches and writings often for inspiration and wanted to find a way to take the most famous quotes and put them into a simple, easy-to-sing song.” That process created “ I Have A Dream” and also led to her monthly song page where she gives away one of her songs each month as a free download.  Over the past year, her music has been downloaded and used in almost 40 countries around the globe.
