New President of Carolinas-Virginia Business Brokers Association(CVBBA)

Jan. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- We should also thank a very active board of directors, as well as Judy Meinecke, our CVBBA administrative assistant. CVBBA ended 2010 with (84) broker members and affiliates; we had (80) total at the end of 2009. If you are aware of our industry’s recent trends, this statistic is impressive.Your other Officers and Board Members for 2011 are as follows:

We will be continuing our efforts to generate our own public relations to communicate the value of our professional services, affiliations, and certifications within the CVBBA region. We aim to raise the visibility of CVBBA, IBBA, and the important role of business brokers and Certified Business Intermediaries®.

We will be cataloging and communicating our CVBBA member benefits so we can easily identify and present the value of joining and contributing to our organization. We added value throughout 2010 by negotiating new member services, and we should be proud of the value we offer for the cost of membership.

We also will continue our proactive discussions with IBBA concerning the evolving affiliate versus chapter possibilities. This is very preliminary, and we will keep the CVBBA membership informed as significant issues and opportunities present themselves.
