Follow on Google News | Open House Raises $$$ for National MS SocietyNew family run exercise studio takes the opportunity to change lives by supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The theme of the evening was to "bring your change to change a life," encouraging people to empty their coin jars and support awareness and continuing research of MS. The evening activities allowed patrons to place their change in either baskets, cans, etc. scattered throughout the brand new facility, or in bags carried by the personal trainers. By the end of the night, more than 50lbs of coins were being dragged across the room. Along with clients, friends, and family, business leaders affiliated with the South Metro Chamber of Commerce supported the event, with the chamber officials holding a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Local businesses such as Roger Mangan State Farm Agency, Tokyo Joe's, and Cybertary assisted with the open house festivities. Dianne Bailey CSCS, founder/owner of The Conditioning Classroom, began her own private personal training business 10 yrs ago, eventually expanding into the current studio highlighted during the event. The business is family run, with her son Grant Pettegrew CSCS, assisting with the business and personal training as well. The studio focuses on educating and empowering people through proper exercise. They provide private personal training along with group exercises such as cardio kickboxing, yoga, self defense and more. Dianne chose to support The National MS Society, as she has worked with clients who have and currently battle MS. Understanding the role of movement assists MS patients in maintaining functionality.
