International Purple Hijab Day 2011

Jan. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Saturday, February 12 join your community in supporting the survivors of domestic violence by wearing purple (tie, kufi, scarf), etc. go with a group of friends to pray for an end to domestic abuse. Join the community of Edmonton, CA (Canada) as they hang posters at the public square in that city. Join the Atlanta, GA community on Saturday, February 12 at the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, 560 Fayetteville Rd. at 3:30 pm for program featuring the voices of survivors.
