Toshiba America Adds Diversity to Portfolio with Addition of New IKHR2D HD Industrial Camera w/USB2

Jan. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- January 21, 2011, Gilbert, Arizona – Aegis Electronic Group, Inc., a top industrial camera distributor specializing in the distribution, integration and support of visible and Near IR cameras, components and modified integrated system solutions, is pleased to announced the release of a new one piece, ultra compact high definition industrial camera with a USB2.0 port in addition to 1080i/1080p and 720p, the IK-HR2D from Toshiba America.

The new IK-HR2D model is similar in size to Toshiba’s popular IK-HR1D 1/3” CMOS high definition camera but has the added feature of a USB 2.0 port which can be used to export video to flash memory or other suitable computer device.

The IK-HR2D outputs 1080i at 30fps; 1080p and 720p at 60 fps; and USB2 at 5 fps and 15 fps. The USB2 port transmits full 1920 x 1080 at 5 fps and 1280 x 720 at 15 fps.

The IK-HR2D is currently available in limited quantities for evaluation purposes only, more information will be released in the next few weeks.
