Sky Factory Recognized by Illuminating Engineering Society

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) has recognized Sky Factory’s EcoSlim™ 24 volt DC Power System with Dimmer Option as a “unique and significant advancement to the art and science of lighting.” The Power System was selected for the IES 2010 Progress Report featured in the January 2011 issue of LD+A (Lighting Design and Application) magazine.

The LSC 24PS Power System provides the first LED power supply with up to 1500 watts capacity. It has a 24-V DC output and is capable of being dimmed. Multiple power supplies can be controlled by one dimming device. Certifications include UL, CSA and CE.

The EcoSlim Power System was substantially developed by Sky Factory’s Engineering Facilitator Michael J. Kurimski, who explains, “The EcoSlim Power System is the only dimmable, self contained, 24-V DC system over 240 watts available in the market today.”
