Jan. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Denver, CO – The Legal Service Providers Association (LSPA), the first organization dedicated to the growth and promotion of the service providers in the legal industry, announced that it is now accepting membership applications.  Starting today, legal service providers can explore company-based memberships that yield immediate benefits in training, supplier discounts, human resources, marketing, sales and technical support.

The organization was founded by long-time industry veterans with the goal of helping all companies compete in an increasingly demanding marketplace.

“When compared to other sectors, the legal industry is primarily made up of small- to mid-sized companies,” said Jerry Correia, one of the founding directors of LSPA. “Few companies have the time it requires or the size necessary to negotiate and develop the kinds of programs and discounts available to major corporations.  To combat this disadvantage, the LSPA provides each member with the purchasing power and resources of a large corporation while allowing them to focus on the ongoing innovation and service excellence our clients have come to expect.”

“We can see a multitude of ways in which companies like ours will derive value from membership with the Legal Service Providers Association, but expense reduction and personnel development are two examples we are most excited about.  We believe that the return on investment for service providers who sign up will be both quick and substantial,” said Christian Lawrence, CEO of LSPA member-company SFL Data.

Each company-based membership offers benefits in four key areas:

•   Increased profits through national purchasing power, which includes national discounts on office supplies, shipping services, training programs, promotional products, printing and marketing tools.
•   Increased knowledge through education and certification programs developed especially for our members, including web-based and live sales training programs, project management and technical certifications.
•   Increased sales through member marketing plans, sales training, case and client research tools and media relations campaigns.  Members will also be listed in the new client-facing website, LitSupport.net  to be launched in March.
•   Increased excellence through business, technology and human resources support, which includes access to the LSPA technical questions forum, product spotlights, business and technology consulting programs and the impending LSPA jobs database.

Membership dues are $125 per month for one location.  This provides that location and all employees that report to that location with complete access to member benefits. Additional company locations can be added for $95 per month per location.
