Strikes And Spares Celebrity Bowling Fest Set For Super Bowl Weekend in Dallas

Jan. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Hollywood….On Saturday, February 5, 2011, a host of athletes, celebrities and other public figures will come together to raise funds at the Strikes and Spares Celebrity Bowling Fest™. The event is scheduled to take place from 11:00am – 4:00pm and will be held at USA Bowl located at 10920 Composite Drive in Dallas, TX.  Red Carpet arrivals for the event will be from 11:00am – 12:00pm.

This year’s event will raise money for GBC-Giving Back Corporation, a 501©3 organization.  The mission of GBC is geared toward assisting youth in educational scholarships as well as help with everyday life management skills.  “We are pleased to be working with the team of Strikes and Spares Celebrity Bowling Fest and are looking forward to a fun and productive afternoon,” says Ken Sagoes, Founder of GBC-Giving Back Corporation.

Registered participants will have an opportunity to bowl with some of today’s top athletes and entertainers.  Each team will be paired with a celebrity team captain and will bowl two games with the combined high scores winning.  There will also be door prizes, raffles and music will be provided by celebrity DJ Famous Amos.
