Ex-pro ballerina Grier Cooper is currently creating an exercise program entitled “How to Build a Ballerina Body” for Vook to help readers tone their way to the much-envied lean and fit dancer's body. Using a number of basic ballet steps, Cooper's regimen targets key areas of thighs, calves, arms, and the core muscles of abs and glutes, and includes basic nutrition guidelines. Grier Cooper has performed word-wide with companies including San Francisco Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and the Frank Genius Group, and currently writes a dance column for BAY STAGES magazine in San Francisco. Her writing has been published in the Daily Book of Photography (Walter Foster, 2010), the Learn Every Day Series (Gryphon House, 2011), Skipping Stones magazine, and Guardian Angel Kids magazine.
