Waterfall Wallpaper Featured on NASA Earth Science Website

Jan. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- The beautiful Elakala waterfalls found at Blackwaterfalls State Park in Tucker County, West Virginia were featured on NASA's Earth science photo of the day.

The waterfall nature wallpaper from amateur photographer ForestWander Nature Wallpaper was posted as the Photo of the Day on January 26, 2011.

Many votes were cast for the magical waterfall image in the 24 hour period.

Elakala waterfalls can be found near the Blackwater Falls State Park Lodge. The scenic waterfalls are fed from Shay's run which pours in the the Blackwater Gorge far below.

At the end of the year visitor votes are tallied and the waterfall wallpaper image may be one of the most popular for 2011.
