With over $12,000 in prizes and a wide variety of categories for filmmakers to submit to, the Festival highlights the winners in a "Best of" tour while curating their content for future reference and other opportunities. Industry support for the festival include entertainment and technology professionals from Industrial Light & Magic, Pixar, Summit Entertainment, and United Talent Agency to name a few. "We're excited to be hosted by the leader of film education at the LAFS this year in their newly equipped 3D-enabled theatre," said NMFF director Susan Johnston. "We were looking for the perfect venue to showcase this years winners so it was very important for us to have the right facility with the right technology."
