Nibbles Play Cafe presents Mr. Billy 4th Wed. of each month

Feb. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Nibbles’ Play Café, a member of the North Suburban Children's Business Network (nscbn.net) announces their 2011 Artist in Residence, Mr. Billy, who will be performing every 4th Wednesday of the month throughout the year.  A fusion of coffee house and indoor play facility that caters to parents of babies and young children, Nibbles has been dedicated to bringing live music to children and their families since opening three years ago.

“Mr. Billy and I met several years ago as members of the Children’s Music Network – a great national organization of people that celebrate the power of music in the lives of children.” Says Kathleen Weinberg , owner of Nibbles.  “We’ve been talking about bringing Mr. Billy’s extreme upbeat energetic music to Nibbles for a while and I’m very excited that we have finally come together to provide this opportunity for children and their families once a month for the year of 2011!”

“Along with performing his own concert, Mr. Billy is planning on doing a live video show that will be broadcast on the internet and inviting other local musicians for guest performances from Nibbles sometime in the next few months.  I think kids and their families will really have fun being a part of this hi-tech experience!”

Mr. Billy is a children's singer, song ROCKER from De Pere WI. He has been playing guitar and writing his own songs since he was 9 years old. He has recorded over eight award winning  CD's of extreme kids music. He is best unknown for writing and recording songs for Pulls ups Big Kids Central DVD, over 3 million have been distributed. He also co-wrote the "I'm a Big Kid Now" jingle/song. He performs at over 200 schools, libraries and events from coast to coast each year. This year, Mr. Billy is traveling with his 15 year old son Wil, who is an excellent drummer and percussionist, to round out a great sound for Mr. Billy’s energetic style. www.misterbilly.com
Nibbles’ Play Cafe has indoor play areas designed for children ages 0-7 and is a child-friendly restaurant serving homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, an extensive children’s menu and Intelligentsia coffees/teas.  It is a great place for playdates; family dinners or just hanging out using their free wifi while the children play.  They specialize in 1st birthdays and other family milestone events.  Nibbles’ frequently has special events including music, character visits (superheros, pirates, fairy godmothers and more) and great family parties.

Admission is $5 per child between the ages of 1 to 7 (babies and anyone over 7 are free).  Hours are 9:30-8:00 on weekdays and 9:30-3:00 on weekends.
