By: Sirius Press, Inc. In a remote monastery in the mountains of Japan young Yoshi Kobayashi is trained in the ways of the ninja, forged into a deadly weapon, his instincts and fighting prowess honed to perfection. He is the ultimate warrior. He is the Ghost Wind . . . Supported by strange allies and beset by monstrous enemies, is he strong enough to stop the legions of darkness from conquering the earth when the Veil is finally torn? Read more about the book on Sirius Press: http://www.siriuspress.com/ The story comes from the co-writing team of Canadian Calvin Daniels and British Mitchel Rose, who have yet to meet face-to-face. Daniels says the social networking site Facebook actually proved an important networking tool for Granton City Press, and The Ghost Wind. "The biggest thing is finding writers dedicated to the vision," Daniels explains. "While I have found some excellent co-writers via Facebook, others have been miserable failures for various reasons. But, I grew up on a farm so I understand the need to get rid of the chaff to get to the worthwhile grain." He goes on to say that, “Mitchel is another writer I connected with on Facebook. I saw he had an interest in Manga and thought he might be a good fit for The Ghost Wind, and he has been perfect.” When prompted for an anecdote describing the difference between local and online collaboration, Daniels recalled, "I was wondering where the cover art was for Ghost Wind #1, so I wrote artist Guillermo A. Angel and he quickly reminded me that living in Chile he was dealing with the earthquake. At times with 'Net' connections you can forget where everybody is." Rose says, “I've really enjoyed writing for The Ghost Wind. I love pulp style adventures and I had the freedom to take it to down some pretty strange and fantastic avenues.” Ghost Wind is a young ninja who owes his life to a local crime lord and community leader in the ‘Chinatown’ “A real roller coaster ride of a story,” adds Rose.
