London - The SAS Group, has been awarded a 1 Star accreditation after taking part in The Sunday Times’ Best Companies survey 2011. In the 2011 awards, the managed service provider competed against 1164 other companies, of all sizes and spanning an array of industry sectors, and was one of just 256 organisations to achieve 1 star status.

The Best Companies’ award is a measurement of the overall level of engagement employees have with their employer and tells the organisation how happy, positive and enthusiastic employees are generally about working for the company.

As a result of its accreditation, the SAS Group will now feature on the Best Companies site as a recommended company to work for and will be allowed to use the Best Companies logo in its recruitment advertising, as well as post positions on the Best Companies’ online job board.

“This is the first year SAS has taken part in the survey so we’re really delighted with the result,” said Charles Davis, CEO for the SAS Group. “It’s always important to know that employees are happy at work but it’s equally important to understand where the company needs to improve; the Best Companies survey has not only shown us what we’re doing right it’s also given us great insight on areas where we could do better and we’re keen to take this information on board.”
