A lot of monkey business has resulted in the troop of 18 nearly doubling in number over the past few years, with the addition of five babies last year. Zookeeper Kate Sanders said: “They enjoyed investigating the bunting but they were definitely more interested in their honey.” She added: “They may be Bolivian squirrel monkeys but they breed like rabbits – so hopefully we could be expecting the pitta patter of more tiny monkey feet very soon.” ENDS Please credit the picture to Zoological Society of London. # # # Founded in 1826, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international scientific, conservation and educational charity: our key role is the conservation of animals and their habitats.
