PRLog -- Aspen, Colorado may have started as a small Victorian mining town, but it now is home to many of the finest luxury homes in the world. Although Aspen, CO is many miles away from Almont, MI these 2 small towns have more than just the first letter of their names in common. Almont is home to Grabill Windows and Doors and Aspen is home to many of Grabill's custom products. Grabill has been contracted to provide architectural windows and doors for numerous residential and commercial projects in Aspen and the surrounding valley. Recenty, Charles Cunniffe Architects specified Grabill to complete the windows and doors for a 9,200 square foot contemporary Aspen home that showcases some of the diverse options the company has to offer. This highly custom design consisted of aluminum clad with champagne anodized exterior and rustic rift sawn white oak interior. The details included fixed in frame oversized glass and operable windows commonly mulled together to achieve sleek narrow site lines. Some of windows contained nearly 70 square feet of uninterrupted glass. The project also contained large expanse lift and slide doors, bi-fold and pivot door systems and hardware in premium bronze with satin nickel finishes.
