 RhinoRock Exhibits Light Weight Concrete Fence at Fencetech in Las VegasFEBUARY, 2011: Rhinorock is exhibiting its lightweight concrete fence at the FenceTech trade show in Las Vegas. RhinoRock’s proprietary manufacturing process produces a six foot tall by nine foot long concrete fencing panel that weighs 230 lbs.

The lightweight panel has a high performance concrete shell that is heavily fiber reinforced that is bonded to a solid foam core. Formal Engineering testing has shown that the panel when laid horizontally and supported only on the ends can support 1.5 tons of water distributed along its surface. This is equivalent to a 160 mph wind load. The full engineering report is available on their website http://www.RhinoRock.com/ Since the panel exterior is made of a high performance concrete, unlike many other fencing materials, it is totally UV stable, is not affected by water, dimensionally stable, and unaffected by seasonal temperature changes and requires no maintenance. Also other types of materials cannot achieve the realistic stone appearance as well as concrete does. The concrete surface can easily be color stained on site to compliment homes or commercial buildings. Due to the significant reduction in weight, the RhinoRock fence can be be installed in back yards with little damage to the existing landscaping. In contrast to a typical concrete fence, the RhinoRock concrete fence does not require large equipment for installation as the fencing components can be moved into place by hand. The six foot tall column and panel fence system is protected by two patents and two more that are pending. Adam Anderson, general manager of RhinoRock, says that due to its reduction in weight and efficient patented installation system, a three person crew can install between 300 to 600 lineal feet of the RhinoRock fence in one day.
