The Holiday Inn Plaza la Chaudiere has Heart|

Feb. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- In honor of  Valentine's Day, the Holiday Inn Plaza la Chaudière, in collaboration with the Ottawa/Gatineau Hotel Association, celebrates the campaign of Hoteliers have Heart, in support of Moisson Outaouais.
Since its inception in 2006, Moisson Outaouais is working hard to establish itself in the Outaouais and make its way in in the environment of the food assistance. The role of Moisson Outaouais is very important and essential to our community. By its status as a regional body, Moisson Outaouais serves the city of Gatineau, as well as the Pontiac area and up to La Petite-Nation via Gatineau.
With its recuperative powers, Moisson Outaouais provides a solid supply, important and rich in variety for the Outaouais. Every dollar invested in Moisson Outaouais is transformed into $ 5 worth of food.

For over 15 years, the Ottawa Food Bank (OFB) supports a significant food aid in Outaouais. Given the ever growing need, the OFB and Moisson Outaouais have implemented a plan to make Outaouais, completely autonomous by June 2011.

One of the important parts of the solution based on the construction and implementation of Complex Moisson, a warehouse with over 10,000 square feet and will be erected in Gatineau. The investments required for the completion of this project necessitates that Moisson Outaouais launches a major campaign funding Du cœur…aux ventres whose goal is set at $ 2.6 million.

Complex Moisson will enable the organization and the region to become self-sufficient for the storage of foodstuffs and ensure greater coverage with many people in need in the Outaouais.

For the fundraiser the Hoteliers of the Outaouais region have given gift certificates to be posted on Moisson Outaouais’ website for sale at auction. The Holiday Inn Plaza la Chaudière is proud to announce its participation with a gift certificate for two nights in an executive suite, evening meals for two and the American breakfast buffet included, valid until February 14, 2012. This gift certificate is valued at $ 530.00.

In order to become more involved in this cause that we hold to heart, the Holiday Inn Plaza la Chaudiere is having  an Easter contest. We invite children to color a drawing and get their picture taken with their drawing and our large Easter egg. We invite all people to come and make a donation to Moisson Outaouais at the reception desk. In late April, the Holiday Inn Plaza la Chaudiere will give a check totaling all the money collected to Moisson Outaouais. Please help us give back to this deserving cause.
