Camp Hill Community Organizations Offer Free Classes For Seniors

Feb. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Camp Hill, PA - Camp Hill Recreation and The Lion Foundation of Camp Hill have teamed up to offer two free classes for seniors and active older adults ages 50 and up.

For participant convenience, each class is available in any of three 3-week sessions throughout the Spring of 2011. There is no cost associated with either program, but registration for each session is limited – interested participants are encouraged to contact Camp Hill Recreation to reserve their places.

50+ Computer Class: Basics & More
Join Pat Anastasio & the Tech Club at Camp Hill High School in learning the basics of Windows 7, using email, saving and sharing photos and more.

Classes will be held Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:30 pm at Camp Hill High School, room 123. Interested participants can choose from any of three sessions: March 2, 9, and 16; April 6, 13 and 20; or May 4, 11 and 18, 2011.

Zumba Gold®
Join instructor Sandy Switzer in a fun fitness program geared towards active older adults. Zumba Gold classes incorporate Latin and other international rhythms in enjoyable, healthy routines suited to the physical and psychological needs of this population.

Classes will be held Thursday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the Camp Hill Community Room. Those interested in attending can choose from any of three sessions: March 3, 10 and 17; April 7, 14 and 21; or May 5, 12 and 19, 2011
