Hyundai Sonata, Elantra & Tuscon Acknowledged For Energy-Efficient Economy

Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- The American Council has recognized three of Hyundai’s best vehicles, the Tuscon, Elantra and Sonata for their Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE.) For the sixth year in a row, the Hyundai Sonata was acknowledged on the American Council’s annual “Greener Choices 2011” list along with the Tuscon and Elantra. Also, the Tuscon and Elantra were listed as one of twelve most environmentally-friendly vehicles available to consumers this model year.

The “Greener Choices” list is restricted to widely available gasoline-powered cars and light trucks with automatic transmissions, thus highlighting the widespread availability of environmentally-friendly vehicle choices in many segments of the market. The twelve vehicles on the “Greenest Vehicles” list represent the top-scoring vehicle of each nameplate.
