Feb. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- The Law Offices of Rhonda Hill Wilson is pleased to announce that attorney Joseph Cohn has joined the Philadelphia nursing home negligence firm. Cohn, who has spent his career protecting the rights of vulnerable and marginalized people, will join the firm as an associate.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Rhonda Hill Wilson, P.C., Cohn served as a staff attorney at the AIDS Law Project and as a staff attorney at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2007, Pennsylvania Law Weekly recognized him as a "Lawyer on the Fast Track." Cohn was also featured in Super Lawyers Magazine’s 2008 Rising Stars Edition, which recognizes Pennsylvania's top 2.5% of attorneys who are 40-years-old or younger. He also served on the Landlord-Tenant Liaison Committee that was awarded the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas’ Inaugural Pro Bono Publico Award in 2007.

Cohn is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania's Law School and received his Masters of Government Administration from the University’s Fels Institute of Government Administration. Cohn earned his bachelors degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he majored in political science and graduated cum laude.

In his spare time, Cohn volunteers with the HIAS Migration and Council where he provides pro bono representation to low income political asylum applicants. He also serves on the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Lawyers' Guild's Next Gen Committee, and mentors South Philadelphia youth through Mentoring Matters, an organization that fosters relationships between community members and disadvantaged youth.
